Time Travel: Odyssey is a unique historical fantasy adventure tale, set in the exciting worlds of the Roman Empire, Greece and the Trojan War, Victorian England, and Ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic Era.
The author sends his champion on swashbuckling adventures with the Gods and Heroes of Ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology and legend, makes reference to the Masonic Degrees of Freemasonry, and recounts relevant aspects of history, culture, geography, politics, religion, and ritual, entwined with entertaining fantasy narrative.
The time-traveling adventurer eventually discovers he is the reincarnation of Odysseus from Homer's Odyssey, reunites with Helen of Troy, and wins the "Crown of All Wisdom, which is Love." He begins a new life as the mage Balthazar, one of the three Biblical Magi or Wise Men who came bearing gifts to the Nativity of Jesus Christ.
All told in a sophisticated yet lively style reminiscent of the Elizabethan English of Shakespeare. Based on The Weird of the Wanderer by Frederick Rolfe (1912).
